Nicole Miller is an artist, environmental historian, and visual anthropologist living and working in Sweden and Denmark. She is employed at the Royal Danish Academy in Copenhagen, has curated several art events in Scandinavia, and has published interdisciplinary texts on architecture, aesthetics, and the environment. She works across a variety of mediums including ceramics, film, and photography, and she has exhibited in Europe, North America, and Australia. Her research combines artistic practice, curatorial work, and visual culture, utilizing an anthropological perspective to examine elements of cultural history, in particular archival memory and human-nature relationships.
